About Rebecca
Rebecca Claeys is a Bachelor’s-educated Registered Nurse and holds credentials as a Certified Professional Coder and a Certified Program Integrity Professional. She has extensive professional teaching experience, including as faculty at the US Department of Justice’s Medicaid Integrity Institute.
Rebecca has received numerous accolades for her work during the COVID-19 public health emergency, including a Certificate of Recognition and a Challenge Coin from the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services and a Certificate of Appreciation from the US Army 78th Training Division.
After running on the corporate hamster wheel for 20 years chasing the next big career step (what she calls ‘a what’), Rebecca now helps women and gender nonconforming professionals facing burnout to reclaim their root purpose (what she refers to as ‘a why’) so they define their freedom, joy, and success on their terms.
When not acting as a teacher-guide, Rebecca adores leading her children’s Girl Scout troop, passing on skills and confidence to the next generation. She also indulges in a multitude of fiber arts, collecting rocks and crystals, and digging in the dirt with both fingers and toes. She considers herself a lipstick connoisseur and may own a crown or a dozen.
Rebecca’s unique perspective on burnout, examining the root cause rather than following the industry standard of treating symptoms, offers an opportunity to not only address burnout while it’s happening, but a grounded method of avoiding burnout in the first place.
Rather than jumping on the well-known burnout/purpose train we all know, she aims to switch that train onto another track by redefining the words and deepening our understanding of why burnout is so pervasive in our society. She doesn’t look for a band-aid solution in her work; she prefers to focus time and energy on real healing.
